Pyrazosulfuron-ethyl is a herbicide used for controlling weeds in rice crops. It's a selective systemic herbicide, meaning it is absorbed by the roots and/or leaves of weeds and translocated to the growing point. It works by inhibiting the biosynthesis of essential amino acids, which disrupts cell division and plant growth.

Application | This product is a sulfonylurea selective herbicide. Its active ingredients can diffuse rapidly in water, be absorbed by the roots of weeds and then transmitted to the plant body, hindering the synthesis of amino acids. It inhibits the growth of weed stems and leaves and the extension of roots, and finally dies completely, which can effectively prevent annual broad-leaf weeds in transplanted rice fields. It's commonly used for pre-emergent and post-emergent weed control in rice fields. |
Mode Of Action | Systemic herbicide, absorbed by roots and/or leaves and translocated to the meristems. |
Uses | Control of annual and perennial broad-leaved weeds and sedges, pre- or post-emergence, in wet-sown and transplanted rice crops, at 15-30 g/ha. |
