Etoxazole is an insecticide for use in the field and in the glasshouse, on, for example, pome fruits, cotton and vegetables to control phytophagous mites.
Etoxazole works by inhibiting the synthesis of chitin in mites, disrupting their molting process and leading to their death. It is particularly effective against mite eggs and larvae.
