Weedicide Herbicide Flazasulfuron 97% Tc, 25% Wdg 40g/L Od
Flazasulfuron is a sulfonylurea herbicide used for controlling the unwanted growth of grass, broad-leaved weeds and sedges. The mode of action of flazasulfuron is through the inhibition of the enzyme acetolactate synthase (ALS), which results in the inhibition of amino acid synthesis, cell division and ultimately plant growth. Flazasulfuron can be used on both pre-emergent weeds and post-emergent weeds. Growth ceases within hours of the application of the compound. Symptoms include leaf discolouration, desiccation, necrosis and ultimately plant death within 20 - 25 days of application. It is a white, water-soluble solid.

Application | 1. Applicable lawns: Applicable to warm-season lawns (zoysia and bermudagrass), highly safe for lawn grass. 2. Dosage per mu: 8-16 g/mu 3. Time when lawn grass can tolerate drugs: Early after lawn grass seedlings (10-15 days after emergence, the dosage at this time is the lower limit of 8 g/mu) or after mowing. 4. Types of weeds controlled: This product has a wide spectrum of weed control and can effectively control most 3-4 leaf stage grass, sedge and broadleaf weeds, especially barnyard grass, foxtail grass, awned sedge, green amaranth, bluegrass, shepherd's purse, baumgar, chickweed, and vetch. It has excellent effects on perennial sedge weeds such as cyperus and water centipede. |
Weed Control | Flazasulfuron is a systemic herbicide that can be absorbed by the stems, leaves and roots of weeds and then conducted in the plant body. By inhibiting the biosynthesis of side chain amino acids in the plant body, it causes sensitive plants to stagnate in growth, turn green in stems and leaves, and gradually die. Generally, new leaves turn green within 4-5 days, and then spread to the entire plant, and weeds die completely in 20-30 days. Flazasulfuron can be used to control broadleaf weeds, sedges and grass weeds in warm-season lawns (limited to Bermuda grass and Zoysia grass lawns). The recommended dosage is 12-16 grams per mu. The recommended dosage is high for controlling grass weeds. If only broadleaf weeds are removed, the dosage can be reduced to 6-8 grams per mu. The appropriate time to apply Flazasulfuron is when a large number of weed seeds germinate and the soil is moist. Evenly spread the fine soil to seal the soil. It can also be used for stem and leaf spraying when the weeds are in the 3-4 leaf stage and the plant height is less than 10 cm, with 45 kg of water per mu (Gongnong-16 type sprayer 2 watering cans). Jin Baixiu is particularly effective against Cyperus rotundus. The underground corms of Cyperus rotundus will turn brown 5 to 7 days after application, and will wither and die in 10 to 15 days and cannot regenerate. This overcomes the disadvantage that other herbicides need to be applied twice in a row to control Cyperus rotundus. |
Uses | Pre- and post- emergency control of grass and broad-leave weeds and sedges(especially Cyperus brevifolius and Cyperrus rotundus) in warm-season turf (Zoysia and Cynodon spp.),at 25-100 g/ha.Also used in vines and sugar cane,at 35-75 g/ha;and in citrus, olives and on railways and other non-crop land. |
