Carbendazim is a widely used, systemic, broad-spectrum benzimidazole fungicide and a metabolite of benomy.
The fungicide is used to control plant diseases in cereals and fruits, including citrus, bananas, strawberries, pineapples, and pomes.
Mode of action Non-systemic, with contact and respiratory action. Expellent action causes ticks to withdraw mouthparts rapidly and fall off the host animal.
