Product Introduction 
Lythidathion is an organophosphorus nematicide. Its main mode of action is to inhibit the synthesis of acetylcholinesterase in root-knot nematodes. It can be used to control various root-knot nematodes, aphids, etc. It has been registered in China for cucumbers, tomatoes and watermelons, and can be widely applied to vegetables, bananas, fruit trees, medicinal materials and other crops. It has contact and systemic effects, with relatively low toxicity, meeting the standards for agricultural product exports. It is highly effective against root-knot nematodes, root-rot (short body) nematodes, cysts, stem nematodes, etc. This product has been localized and registered in China for cucumbers, tomatoes and watermelons. It can be widely used in vegetables, bananas, fruit trees, medicinal materials and other crops. It has good quick-acting properties and a long duration of effect. Two months after the application of thiazophosphine, the thiazophosphine in the soil can still reach the lethal concentration of root-knot nematodes, and three months later, it can still reduce the activity of nematodes. Thiazophosphine has the characteristic of upward conduction. It is strongly conducted from the roots of crops to the leaves, weakly conducted from the leaves to the flowers, and basically not conducted from the flowers to the fruits. It can be conducted to the leaves to control sucking pests such as aphids, etc. It has low toxicity and low residue, and meets the export standards of agricultural products.

Application/Uses Systemic, non-fumigant, soil-applied.  Uses Control of nematodes (Meloidogyne spp., Heterodera spp. and Pratylenchus spp.), aphids, mites, thrips, etc., in vegetables, potatoes and bananas, etc. Applied at 2.0-5.0 kg/ha. 
ECOTOXICOLOGY  Birds Acute oral LD50 for ducks 20, quail 10 mg/kg.  Fish LC50 (96 h) for trout 114, bluegill sunfish 171 mg/l.  Daphnia EC50 (48 h) 279 mg/l.  Bees LD50 (48 h) 0.256 mg/bee.
